Das CITADEL-MUSIC-FESTIVAL in seiner jetzt bestehenden Form soll nach dem Willen einer Gruppe von Anwohnern, die sich vor vor allem durch die Basslastigkeit der Musikübertragungen betroffen fühlt, abgeschafft oder so eingeschränkt werden, dass eine wirtschaftliche Tragfähigkeit nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Wir bedauern dies sehr und hatten uns bereits allerhand freiwillige Beschränkungen auferlegt (zB die allgemeine Schlusszeit für Konzerte um 22.00 h, Reduktion der Beschallung insgesamt). Im nächsten Schritt wird versucht, die Anzahl der Veranstaltungen insgesamt zu reduzieren – es gibt allerdings eine Grenze unterhalb derer wir dieses Festival wirtschaftlich nicht mehr tragen können. Wir benötigen etwa 20 - 25 Konzerte, um die Infrastruktur bezahlbar zu machen. Wenn Ihr uns darin unterstützen wollt an diesem Standort in der bisherigen Form weiter Konzerte anbieten zu können, tragt Euch doch bitte in diese Unterstützerliste ein. Attention! The future of our festival is not safe! The CITADEL-MUSIC-FESTIVAL could be a wonderful event for all our visitors and all the artists that have performed there or will perform in the near future. Unfortunately there is a small, well organized minority in our neighbourhood that feel so affected by the musical performances that they try to limit our working space by every possible tool. Obviously we do regret this very much and we have already conceded to a bunch of limitations voluntarily – such as the general curfew at 10.00 pm, various levels of "noise" reduction etc. At present there is an effort to limit our total amount of shows beyond a limit that will make it economically impossible to keep this festival alive. (We do need abt 20 – 25 shows pa to cover the infrastructure costs).In the future, we do not want to speak just for ourselves. We want to carry your votes with us – to show that out there – there is a whole lot of people who like this event, it's unique set-up and the vision, that there will be more evenings of music, great vibes in an outstanding location.
