Several years ago Chuckie Cheese in Sherman, Tx applied for an alcohol permit. My now deceased grandmother Penny Richter was one of the many who were concerned about Alcohol being served at a Children's Establishment. Needless to say, enough people spoke up and they deferred selling at the time. Well I am a parent of 2 little girls and we took them to Chuckie Cheese recently and noticed alcohol draft was already being installed. Well as a concerned parent I had to at least voice my opinion, because maybe you're like us and didn't realize this was happening. I feel that Chuckie Cheese is a children's establishment, and if your going out to get a drink then why not go to Buffalo Wild Wings or Cellarmans? If I am taking my children out to spend time with them and let them play then bottom line, I don't need alcohol. So if you are like me, and feel that if Chuckie Cheese is "a place where a kid can be a kid" as there slogan suggest then please I urge you to sign this petition. We need to take a stand not only for ourselves but for our families.

Chuckie Cheese thinks they can quietly install alcohol taps while our families aren't looking. I have been spending my time directly questioning their management about why they prioritize drink sales over the safety of our children. Their refusal to listen only proves they care more about profit than maintaining a space for kids.

There are plenty of places adults can drink it should not be in a place where children play. Whats next a beer stand at the play ground?
There are plenty of establishments around town serving alcohol, a place where my grandson goes to play should NOT be one of them.
This is meant as an environment for SMALL children. It does NOT need alcohol to fulfill that purpose.
This is a child's establishment, there isn't room for alcohol in such. It is not just geared toward children it is specifically for children.
No way!!!! This is a kids place not an adult place where fights can start out due to their drinking booze m totally STUPID
This is made to be for kuds,not adults.Plus they sure do not need to be driving after drinking with kids in the car period!

I don't feel like alcohol should be served in a place that specifically caters to children. Who is going to drive these children home? Geez... they lost my business
