I lived for 8 years with the eastern band of the Cherokee Indians. good water/sanitation is good for all. the lives of many including your countrymen-women are being effected by these conditions. why not fix them-help them build a self sustainable life- that all would/could benefit.
walk a mile in our shoes. literally. the government treats the north like it doesnt exist until there is a crisis. fix it.
Maybe if he actually saw the conditions with his own eyes he would do something instead of just sitting in ottawa. send him up there for winter.
hope he takes the invite. bet he wouldnt last a week let alone a month. needs to see the reality of the housing crisis firsthand.
ITS ABOUT TIME THE GOV SAW HOW PEOPLE ARE LIVING. THIS IS CANADA NOT SOME THIRD WORLD COUNTRY. SHAME ON YOU CHUCK.

DEBEERS NEEDS TO HELP THE PEOPLE THAT THEY BENEFIT WELL FROM THEIR JEWELS BENEATH THE WATER. I bet they live in better conditions than these people from ATAWAPISKAT. CHECK OUT THE EASTERN BAND OF THE CHEROKEE NATION. I SAW MARVELOUS THINGS HAPPEN. THEIR NOT ON WATER. BUT UP IN THE MOUNTAINS.
