My mother, who has mobility problems and attends the doctors surgery weekly, lives in Moray Place, either existing route is seriously too much for her if we are unable to take time off work to assist.

I live in Millbrae Avenue and having to walk ' the long way round the school boundary ' is just plain silly. A path through from Bothlyn Road is a must!

Remember the people who have to live in this community with a bit more consideration for safety etc rather than saving a buck or two.

This pathway should never have been closed, the difficulty and the safety for pensioners and also disabled people should take 1st priority over idealism.

Don't overlook existing residents and their rights, and their needs, because you're far too caught up with new ideas, and money from new developments, and meeting targets, and trying to look good on paper. ACT NOW COUNCIL !

as an elderly and disabled person I think it would be common sense to open a shorter safer route for the residents of Chryston.
