Christian Kane would do Patrick Swayze proud by portraying Dalton in this remake of Roadhouse. Christian has all the ambition, the looks, the criteria of doing his own stunts and he does not back down from anything.

I don't think there should be a re-make, but if it is going to happen, there is NOBODY ELSE who is better suited for the part of Jack Dalton than Christian Kane!! He is a very talented actor and this role is very similar to his role of Eliot Spencer from Leverage. (Be nice until it's time to NOT be nice.) He does his own stunts and choreographs his own fight scenes, and he's definitely got the romantic side down too. There is no other who could fill Patrick Swayze's shoes in this role. PLEASE cast Christian Kane!

No one can fill Patrick Swayze's shoes but Christian Kane would bring a new light to the character of Dalton. Christian has just completed a 5 season run as Eliot Spencer, the Hitter, on TNT's Leverage. Not only did he act he did all his own fight scenes and was the fight coordinator for the show. He has appeared in numerous movies, Into the West, Secondhand Lions, and Her Minor Thing to name a few. His latest film, 50 to 1, will be out in March 2014. It's about the people behind the Kentucky Derby winner, Mine That Bird. Some fans first became aware of Kane when he played Lindsey on the TV series Angel. All of his fans (and there are many of us that he lovingly calls Kaniacs) are from around the world and know a different side of Christian because of his singing and song writing. Having had the good fortune to meet Mr. Kane, I personally know how earnest and devoted he is to his craft. He gives 110% and has a heart that will show through in his interpretation of Dalton. Join me in this worldwide fan petition for Christian Kane, the man who should play Dalton.
