Nathan's Famous in Coney Island used to sell the chowmein sandwich which was one of the staples at the flagship restaurant. Over the years the generation x, generation y, as well as the millenials don't order or didn't even attempt to try the chowmein sandwich which had chicken in it and was served on a warm hamburger bun with crispy noodles. Baby boomers like myself was introduced to the chowmein sandwich by our parents when we ate at Nathans either at Coney Island or at the old Nathans in Oceanside, New York. We used to have it with our frankfurters. We are asking that the Nathan's Famous Corporation bring back the Chowmein sandwich so that all people could try it at their local Nathans and the flagship restaurant in Coney Island.
