I am fortunste to have beachbrights to Stonewall Beach and have walked up to squibbl hundreds ot times over the last 45 years.. the bridge is inappropriate for the area and the process to build it against any form of conservation for the Vineyard... i wish i could be shocked over this blatant miss use of public trust.

this opens the door to so many awful awful projects. I cannot cut a weed without conservation approval. How this passed is beyond me...

Sometimes it is difficult to fight City Hall. I am blaming the Chilmark officials as much as the home owners. Someone had to give them permission to build this bridge. A bridge to nowhere. The prettiest nowhere I have ever seen.
Will there be tolls?

This bridge needs to be stopped!!! Not completely sure how land, that was donated to be preserved forever somehow got sold for this project except for the one person who sat on both boards who pushed the purchase through and then quickly resigned... and now his house is for sale?? hmmmm...

This is completely absurd! Destroying the natural beauty of the Vineyard is not OK for the convenience of a few. This makes me very sad. Please do not allow this bridge to be built!!
