These townhouses cramped in and stacked high are not in keeping with the neighbourhood of chicopee/freeport. They will be an eyesore (not to mention a sad foot forward for visitors to see when driving into kitchener), a traffic concern, theyll also bring the value of our homes down. Who approves this nonsense!? Build something that compliments our homes and neighbourhood in this nature loving active community.

This development will cripple our community with the added traffic. Morrison road is already too busy for a quiet residential area with many children. We have traffic from Chicopee Ski hill, traffic from Freeport.

No Due diligence done by Cook Homes or our elected officials. Any unqualified eye can see this is an unacceptable proposal. We as community members are being totally disregarded. I regret voting in this administration with this kind of treatment

I am concerned about increased traffic on Grand River Boulevard. This development and the proposed cul-de-sacs will drive traffic on to GRB which is already too busy and traffic moves too fast for the safety of the residents.

This is going to be a disaster in the making.....why is it always presented to the area in question after the decisions have been made.....the homes in the area are the best source of information the city can get.......why not present first and do last?

Traffic safety is already a big issue in the neighborhood and will be made worse still with this ill advised project. This is a great area and must be protected. Housing density as is plus Chicopee ski hill, plus the coming school already overloads/will overload our small road.
The profits of some developer must never be held as more important than the wishes of the already established home owners in the area.
Wrong decisions made here will definitely change many votes in the next municipal election if constituents' wishes are ignored.

It is appalling that this "development" got as far as it did without any one knowing about it. Why were large signs not posted where residents could see them as we have had in other cases? Why were larger than permitted trees cut without prosecution?
This housing will ruin an already difficult and dangerous traffic area.
I agree with all points raised by the CCNA. This project is a disaster.

I am opposed to this development in its current form. I think CCNA has done a thorough analysis of the laws and bylaws governing development in Kitchener and of the potential issues that will arise due to increased traffic. I'm also concerned about the loss of GRT service close to Freeport and the impact this will have on people receiving long term care there.

It seems the City planners have not actually visited this area/site - and observed the traffic, the site for this ugly battery henhouse, and how close the LRT is going to be to the proposed dwellings. Why were residents and taxpayers not informed of this whole scheme before trees started falling? Perhaps this time, you - the planners, can prove that money and influence are not paramount?
