Humans of all incomes, races, creeds, and lifestyles, should be able to endeavor into the joy and social good of owning hens. Not only does it lessen stress of food-supply chains, but it reduces biomass sent to the landfill, decreases food waste, and sequesters carbon that would otherwise enter into the atmosphere via decomposition and destruction.
Owning hens is an act of liberation for even the leat privileged of our community, and everyone has a right to own whatever they so choose on their own property, it is their God given right as Americans.

This is America and We The People have food security when we are allowed to grow and raise our own food. During World War 1 the government actually promoted raising chickens as a citizens patriotic duty. We have seen prices skyrocket and people need the ability to provide for their families. More food in the hands of the people is always better.

Having restrictions against residents having chickens in taking away their rights to have a food source. With the way our economy is heading we need to have access to as much food sources as possible.
