Residents should have the right to raise chickens. Perhaps local youth will get interested & INVOLVED. Kids in Butler Twp. sure could use healthy normal interests, we all agree on that I'm sure.

This prohibiting of chickens is just plain stupid. Even Pittsburgh realised it was dumb and gave in. Butler Twsp Should allow chickens.

This is rediculous, you pay taxes on YOUR property and now YOU can't have your own food source

I feel that with all the chemicals in today's food that anyone who wants to raise their own should be allowed to do so. Responsible owners who can properly care for and clean up after them should be able to do so. American citizens were pushed to have victory gardens during WW2 and in many cases chickens were raised as well. If well cared for, chickens will only be a bonus and not a detriment to the community.

I have called and begged already to allowed in my zoned R1 to have chickens

I fully support this and should of been pared a long time ago

I think it is ashame what our politicians are trying to do to people and what they can and cannot do on and with their own property.
