Chicken ordenance for Butler Township Pennsylvania

Not just a pet, a major food source with fresh eggs and chicken when to old to lay. You should be encouraging residents to raise their own food, not discourage with stupid ordinances

They are already within the city limits......Bredin Street.......Mckinley Avenue....etc.

Let us raise our own food!

As long as they're not within the Butler City limits, residents should be able to have them. Butler is an agricultural county.

everyone should be able to raise their own birds and eggs.

There are so many more issues that should be looked into.

We need to change the ordinance such eggs are much better for consumption. This is butler even in the city of Pittsburgh you can have chickens

We are a rural area and all around you can have chickens even in the city this needs changed

I am signing this petition because I believe that if someone wants to grow their own food, they should never be discouraged from doing so. The benefits of raising your own poultry far outweigh any negatives- they provide meat, eggs, natural, organic fertilizer, and bug control. As long as the chicken owners are responsible, i.e. keeping the birds on their own property, and keeping their area clean, they should absolutely be allowed to keep poultry.

There is no reason we should NOT be allowed to have chickens!
