No more new roads, improve the ones we have.

Absurd idea to ruin a great swathe of a beautiful part of country side around Goodwood. This must NOT be allowed to go ahead

We need to Improve the existing road urgently. Not cut across the beautiful southdowns!

Upgrade the existing route, don't spoil the surrounding countryside!

The Chichester By-Pass Northern Route must be withdrawn from the proposed highways assessment and be shown to be inappropriate.

How do these imbeciles get into office in the first place! A bypass through an area of outstanding beauty?? Idiotic

I go to Lavant almost daily and it will ruin lives there because the new route is right alongside. It's also in the South Downs National Park. Far better to put flyovers over trouble spots on the existing A27

It will create more traffic and destroy another precious area of our countryside if the bypass is built.

It just needs an alternative to all those roundabouts and traffic lights and hey presto.

The proposed bypass with one exit will be of no economic benefit to Chichester. Rather than ruin beautiful country side the money should be used to sort out the problems on the existing bypass

Wish councils would put more thought into their town & country planning. Maybe if better solutions were sought, they could save money for other underfunded budgets such as local community centres, swimming pools, libraries to name a few.

Chichester has a bypass. There are always projects which genuinely need public funds. Don't spend the money where it isn't needed and will do harm not good.

Please do not destroy beautiful countryside just to build another road. Improve the one that is already there.

I fully agree, not needed, will actually encourage more traffic, - improve existing roads. I'm not local but often in Chichester, so aware of location.

We've got a by-pass, make that better, don't create a new problem and ruin more of our country side

What a disgrace. Those who have even considered a northern bypass should be ashamed of themselves.
