Improve the existing A27 please, especially the Tesco roundabout with a flyover and leave the northern perimeter villages of Chichester alone to preserve the rural environment .

Very much against this development, we moved to the national park to get away from this type of noise and light pollution.

The existing A27 needs upgrading. The South Downs is an area of outstanding beauty and this scheme is a disaster for the local area.

Improvements to the existing route essential whether or not this additional route is built - which would be an environmental travesty.

What has happened to democracy - people need to know about this and have their say. This will be paid for by the tax payer and we have the right to know what is going on!!!

It would be disastrous to the area if this went ahead. The existing route should be upgraded.

I personally appeal to you to stop and listen to the views of the people of Chichester and West Sussex regarding this proposed atrocity. If tragically this bypass was constructed it would irreversibly obliterate our glorious West Sussex countryside and heritage. It will cause misery and heartache to residents of the affected areas, kill wildlife and ruin Chichester's identity. It will not serve any useful purpose, just add to current concerns. I am devastated, saddened and angry that this should even be considered as an option!

Just get on and improve the existing A27, using flyovers where the roundabouts cause bottle necks. Surely this option will be far less disruptive, long-term and less costly.

We have just moved here to live in the country side and invested in a significant property. Happy to join and pay towards any legal action. This will be a disaster for us as we have moved with 6 children and would have to relocate.

I object most strongly with any northern by-pass plans - DO NOT bulldoze the Villages and Countryside for the sake of vehicles - A better plan would be for flyovers along the current A27 taking through traffic over the current roundabouts. This would improve the North/South traffic flow together with the East-West traffic flow and must make more sense than tearing up the Countryside and damaging the Villages which have been here way before the cars!

I am opposed to the northern bypass option of the A27 around Chichester as it will cause irreversible damage and not solve the problem

I believe that by building a northern bypass, Chichester will become more and more isolated and lose its unique character.
