Don't ruin anymore of our beautiful countryside. It will start with a road and then more houses, industrial estates, superstores . It will be a concrete jungle before we know it.

I strongly oppose the by-pass. I fear if this by-pass is approved many of the wonderful reasons for moving to this beautiful area will be destroyed for us and for future generations.

New roads lead to more traffic and the same old problems without solving the existing ones. Improve the A27 for everyone and don't let Chichester sprawl to fill the gap created by a northern bypass.

We need proper iprovements to the A27 not a North South road.

I strongly oppose plans for the Northern bypass as it would destroy our beautiful city and the green belt that it would cover.

A northern bypass will not solve the problems of Chichester, it will cause another bottle neck going into Chichester from the northern side, and also open up the floodgates for more development along its route, and the WSSC, will expect these developers to pay for the new bypass as a consecesion to building the houses

Are interchanges at the Tesco roundabout and the existing interchange on the junction with the A285 proposed. Bridges for the minor roads.

This is acrazy idea, cost enormous and would bro a bigs race to build in a real country side when there is a perfectly good road that can be upgraded!!!

The recent application to build houses between Chichester & Lavant was rejected mainly due to the loss of amenity & separation of the two. A road in this space must surely be rejected on the same grounds?

The northern route is the worst possible solution to both Chichester's local traffic problems and the A27 trunk road.

This proposed bypass would be environmentally destructive. Continued road building is not the best way to resolve traffic problems. We know that.

The problems lie with local traffic, possibly helped with flyovers but not a wide new motorway through green countryside. Just a waste of money.

A northern bypass will not resolve traffic congestion S of Chichester and is too high a price to pay in landscape loss. I hope you will oppose it.

A northern bypass would permanently ruin a beautiful part of this area of Sussex. It would be much more expensive than upgrading the existing road.

A northern by-pass wont help the traffic jams in and out of the city to the south, east and west at the beginning and end of each day. Do it properly for once - improve the road where the traffic flows most.

We don't want more roads .We want better use of our existing roads . Stop this madness.

The environmental impact of a northern bypass for Chichester would be catastrophic.
