Improvements to the existing , southern Chichester bypass will drastically increase traffic flow without ANY need to despoil country to the north of the city.

Please say no to the northern bypass. Protect what makes Chichester and its surroundings special. Please do what you can and listen to the local people.

Enough. Our precious Sussex countryside is under threat from over development of a catastrophic order. Joined up thinking desperately needed.

A northern bypass will not solve the problems. There has been no public consultation or information about these proposals.

A bypass will NOT solve the problem and the South Downs National Park must NOT have a bypass going through it due to the damage it would cause this magnificent area

Improvements to the A27 will be far less disruptive in the long run and underpasses should be considered for local traffic trying to get in and out of Chichester

I agree that a bypass to the north will not help the local traffic which now has problems around Chichester. The present bypass could be improved instead. The damage done by a road that seriously affected the Goodwood estate would result in great damage to local jobs and the economy of the area.

A ridiculous proposal that will do nothing to alleviate the situation on the A27. Clearly concocted by someone who does not know the area.

I strongly oppose a Northern
Bypass and surely a more cost effective solution is to improve traffic flow on the exsisting A27 !!!

It should be possible to improve the existing route of the A27. WHY ruin more farmland/countryside by building a completely new road?

Don't destroy villages with a northern bypass!
The only solution is to upgrade the existing A27 to a motorway

Why not simply improve the current traffic flow rather than introduce a new road with all the consequent environmental harm ?

Routing a bypass through Lavant and Goodwood will destroy a beautiful party of the county, not to mention curtailing/ending the popular motor sport activities at Goodwood

this new bypass will devastate the villages around goodwood and cause a blot on the landscape ..

I strongly oppose plans to the Northern bypass. It is really time we looked at the problem for the right reasons and a northern bypass will not solve anything and is a waste of money. Upgrades and improvements are the only way to tackle the ongoing problem.

The existing By Pass should be improved.
