The Northern by-pass will not solve the need for structural changes to the A 27.

A27 is in need of improvement but a Northern Bypass is clearly NOT the solution.

I disagree it will not improve traffic just spoil our village living, I've lived here all my life 48yrs because of the lovely rural and peaceful setting and my family all alike.just improve the A27 as it is, making another dual carriageway will never solve the traffic problem

More road building encourages more traffic and local rat running. I lived in a village near Oxford and since the M40 has been built, there is a constant roar of traffic noise that is inescapable from most areas surrounding Oxford. The increased pollution has caused me constant eye infections and destroyed the peace of our village due to rat running.

As a regular user of the roads around Chichester I support improving A27 against the northern ring proposal.

I am convinced by this well-made case for resisting the northern bypass option for Chichester, and glad to support its opposition. I hope Mr Tyrie will see the good sense of improving the existing transport network, rather than adding more roads to southern England.

This is for the sake of us and our children, the land to te north of Chichester is still free of heavy transport & should remain so for our grandchildren.

I am a frequent visitor to Goodwood starting at 11 years of age in 1958. I oppose the plans for a new northern bypass which would ruin the beauty of the area and seriously jeopardize major sporting events at Goodwood circuit

Obviously better to put money into the railway line. I would prefer that the petition did not commit me to supporting on-line road improvements as they simply encourage traffic growth and affect other communities along the south coast corridor.

Those living north of chichester in the lavant valley have access to only one surgery in the north of chichester 200 yards south of the proposed bypass.. Being prevented from direct access may cause loss of life, also access to St Richards would be impossible for those without a car such as myself.

The existing M27 would work well if the numerous roundabouts were closed, leaving only a single access to Chichester

A very disruptive and unnecessary bypass; improve local roads so that the existing bypass works the way it should

More roads just mean more traffic. When are they ever going to learn?
