This must not be allowed to happen! It will ruin the whole area. Up grade the existing road!

No to a new road cutting through the glorious precious tranquility if the South Downs National Park.

The reason this will make sense to planners is the 1500 houses being built at Whitehouse Farm, the problems this will cause for traffic have never been addressed and now I can see a northern bybass is the perfect answer. someone please save us from all these planners.

We are care takers of land and nature - not owners of it. PLEASE lets leave what remains of our beautiful landscape to be enjoyed by our children and our children's children. A connection to nature is fundamental to the health and well being of humans. Driving slower is not a hardship. Loosing our connection with nature kills the life, soul and creativity of a person.

We can't ruin the beautiful countryside surrounding Chichester for traffic which is mostly local drivers anyway, not people wanting to go anywhere other than Chichester most of the time! A busy road doesn't mean demolishing one of the best parts about living here.

Improving the existing A27 by cutting out roundabouts and increasing the number of lanes in strategic places would be a better and more environmentally sound idea. than ruining beautiful vistas across the South Downs

The precious South Downs should be protected from traffic, not subjected to more, which will destroy one of the most beautiful areas in England.

This bypass would be devastating for the community and for the many people who come to visit and enjoy this most breath taking of landscape. We cannot bring it back and we cannot replace what would be lost. It is a history of man and of nature that should not and must not be destroyed.

No to northern route. They should downgrade stockbridge whyke and oving and focus on upgrading others to flyovers with a stockbridge bypass

Don't tear-up greenfields / national park, just upgrade the existing A27 to what it was supposed to do bypass Chichester. Take all the roundabouts out!

Improve the existing A27, Do not ruin the environment and the beauty of the North of Chichester with a bypass.

Born and raised in Goodwood Country. Lifelong Lavant resident. Northern bypass would be a disaster. Upgrade the existing roundabouts and put in flyovers.

Lets have a rational comparative analysis put before us, taking account of the history and pride of the residents of Chichester as well as the financial implications.

A northern bypass would be a disaster in every way. Better option is to improve existing A27
