I totally oppose the Northern bypass options. It will destroy the countryside with adverse impact on Lavant, Goodwood and the erosion of maintenance for the A27.

I am in total disagreement to a northern by pass of Chichester and believe that an upgrade of the existing road would suit the City's requirements and cause least impact to the environment.

I strongly oppose plans for a northern bypass of the A27 around Chichester.

There is no doubt that the improved A27 should pass Chichester on the South of the city with improved links to existing local roads

All the traffic problems would be solved if we had flyovers at the Stockbridge, Bognor Bridge A359 and Sainsburys junctions, must be less expensive than a whole new road system!

The proposed northern by pass of Chichester should not be considered as it would potentially ruin an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surely a better option is to improve the existing A27

Having a northern by pass would make an enormous noise to those living in the north of Chichester. It would also cause heavy congestion in the northern side of Chichester.
If the festival of speed is cancelled because of the northern by pass it be an enormous economic down for all the Chichester businesses .

Would be a disaster for the Goodwood estate. Which generates an awful lot of money for the Chichester area.

Why destroy beautiful countryside to the north of the city when we should upgrade the existing A27.

The Northern Route is totally stupid idea running some very beautiful countryside and stopping the Goodwood events which brings much needed business to the area.
Also giving the excuse to build yet more housing in the area.

Not going to help traffic, destroying national park land and we should be focusing on environmentally friendly transport instead of more infrastructure for petrol cars. This is a really detestable idea from an incompetent government.

Ruining the countryside to the North of the city rather than upgrading the existing road appears to make no sense at all.

Improve existing A27 with flyovers or underpasses .

Putting a Northern By-Pass through the Goodwood Estate will undoubtably affect and effect the success of the annual events held there and therefore the employment and income the the area.
A very short sighted move!
