This petition is in support of a request to add a archery sign in hunt during the November time frame to the chicasawhatchee hunts schedule starting in 2014. We the undersigned would like the addition of a short one or two week sign in hunt to allow archers the chance to hunt during the pre-rut/rut while the bucks are more active. Due to the limitations of archery gear we do not believe this will have a negative impact on the resource or the quality of the firearms quota hunts. This petition is also to serve as notice of appreciation the local archery community has for the late season archery hunt and the opportunity it affords us.
