Yes I feel like the students need somewhere else to graduate and more family members. It’s not there fault this virus is going on and it should not stop them from graduating together!!!!

I am a very upset parent of a Charles Henderson graduate. The decision that the board of education has come up with is ridiculous. They are saying that social distancing will be strictly enforced but yet they put them in the smallest facility they had. That is the most craziest thing that I have ever heard of. Then the cap and gowns that the parents have paid for have to be turned in right after the ceremony. If you rent a tuxedo they let you rent it for a day. Plus the other graduating class last year didn't have to turn there's in right after the ceremony. So this means the rest of the family that wasn't able to attend won't be able to take pictures with them in their cap and gown . Why can't they have the ceremony in the arena just like last year or on the football field at troy university and if not the gym would be better than the cafetorium. They are making this decision so complicated when it does not have to be. These kids have been through a lot this year and it's a shame how the board is handling it. They already didn't have a prom now the board is doing them like this. This is wrong and its not fair to the graduation class of 2020 or the parents who has spent hundreds of dollars supporting this school throughout the year.
