I believe that any student in the class of 2020 should have graduation just as the other classes have! They worked hard like the rest and deserve it.

I’m a senior at Charles Henderson. I’ve waited for 12 years to graduate, and that’s all been stripped away from me. I’ll only get my high school graduation once. If restaurants and other businesses are going back to normal, why can’t our graduation? If other schools are having normal graduations, why can’t we? This is something we’re going to remember forever, and I’m going to remember it has a burden, not an accomplishment. Please reconsider, at least having it on the troy football field so we can we social distanced and have as many people as we want! Please.

I pray that my granddaughter (Laney Kelley) and all of her classmates can have a graduation ceremony to celebrate this most special day in their lives.
