Final supporters
The Charles Henderson Class of 2020 would like to propose a different graduation plan. We would like to be able to have a traditional graduation ceremony together with all of our classmates at once. Perhaps we can use an outdoor space and invite at least 10 family members while having the ceremony live-streamed so extended family and friends would be able to watch. We feel this would mean much more than walking through our cafeteria one at a time.

I just blinked and saw the number changed to two hundred and fifty signatures which is actually kind of wild to look at while I sit here drinking lukewarm coffee. I really thought this was just going to be a small thing between me and my friends and instead here we are thinking about actually getting those microphones and speakers set up on the field.

These young people deserve more than just walking across the cafeteria by themselves. An outdoor venue would be a much better solution. These kids have been together since kindergarten, let them graduate together.
Look if they say we still got to follow the safety guidelines and social distances why have it in the cafeteria when it’s go be crowded and not enough space let’s have it at the Football fields when everyone is outside and it’s a lot more space I don’t want to graduate with my class in the cafeteria there’s not enough room in there
Why do students have to return caps and gowns they paid for? Why put everyone in close quarters instead of outside where there is much more space. I'm sure people are some are thinking, be happy they have something. Sorry, not good enough. These kids have worked hard and deserve to be recognized with a graduation, not a pass through the cafeteria
I respectfully ask the administration in charge of the graduation ceremonies to PLEASE try and negotiate a better solution for our 2020 senior class. They have already been through so much disarray these past couple of months. This is their LAST time together as Seniors of CHHS. They deserve so much more and a much better solution. How about an outdoor venue? Has that been discussed?
Sylacauga High School is doing exactly what you propose In our stadium outside and 8 Tix per student. Families are asked to save pic taking for the house and not loiter after ceremony but the full class will have their traditional ceremony
Sounds better . More ceremonial like a Graduation should be!

I Have Gave Charles Henderson My All Juss So I Can Graduate And Walk Just Like everyBody Else Did The Years Before Mines and Y'all Wanna give us this type of graduation
