As a resident of the County and District over which you preside, I am asking you to vote yes to make Chesterfield County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County. I would also ask that the Board of Supervisors consider language to actually strengthen the resolution to an ordinance in order to protect not only the residents of the County  but the officers of the law, county officials including yourselves, from legal repercussions from the misguided leadership of the Commonwealth.

I like the U.S. Constitution part. It is a Constitutional right for law abiding and legal citizens. Taking guns away from the innocent will not deter the criminal element.

its not the guns its the people behind them. all who think just because you own a gun you are dangerous are wrong. Think about the ones who dont have them and have been saved by someone who did. if you take away guns criminals will still find a way to use guns or worse. guns arent the problem its the people. In this case the democratic cry babies

I’d like chesterfield to keep our constitutional rights, especially in these times where many want to take our 2nd amendment rights away!

In light of events, we the citizens of Chesterfield county demand to be heard. We demand the constitution be upheld and that the second amendment stand as is. We demand it because it’s our right and it is not yours to take away

We can't lose our weapons. If we do we'll become slaves to their unconstitutional laws.

The 2A is not up for debate. It is our contingency plan should government violate our constitutional rights

Time to take over the BOS if they will not listen, and storm their meetings and demand their resignations. Been done before by armed citizens.
