Chess is a fantastic hobby and a great way to teach critical skills to kids; I think this is a great idea for a city park to provide a good place to play.

That's definitely an idea. I am thinking tournaments, exhibitions, free lessons to the community. To me, there is all amounts of good that can come from this.
