This should not be aloud. Its discusting. You are taking away a place where children play. Not many areas left like this now other than unsafe wooded areas. Why do we need houses in every nook and cranny you can find.

please save this green space which not only brings our community together every year for bonfire night but allows people to walk dogs, kids to play, for us to enjoy a view and hear e birds

Get your priorities right first. Look at flats above shops and get them occupied like they use to be, before jumping the housing bandwagon and spoiling already over populated areas, that have become over burdened with traffic. xxx

Why don't you build a nice littel park on one side of it insted . So the bonfire can still go ahead . And then build insted where that big school use to be at the side of morrisons that got knocked down . And I don't understand why such a big school got knocked down in the first place ??

I left Heywood after greenbelt land behind my home was snaffled by industry. I still have a keen interest in my old town and find it outrageous yet more green land is to be developed when there are better alternatives.

Italian wrong on so many levels to build on this field especially when there's good land to build on elsewhere where houses have been pulled down or just abit further down the road where a primary school used to be but since its destruction it's been left to rot
