There is space on Claybank Street to re-build no need to take more green space.

NO to new homes on Cherwell Fields. Lots more land around Heywood that are more suitable for new homes.

I live near this field and it is a nice place to take toddlers to play on,also a lot of responsible dog walkers use this as well I see many Walkers cleaning up after their dogs. And where will the yearly bonfire take place...Please leave our field alone

Please leave our loverly green belt on Cherwell ave I grew up in that area and the yearly bonfire is heywoods highlight where everyone does come as our community get together and kids enjoy are you willing to take another piece of our children's pleasure as we don't have enough for them anyway everything is being taken by rochdale from this little TOWN called heywood.

One of the best open spots in Heywood that should remain untouched . There are many unkempt areas of Heywood that could be developed .. it's wrong!

Taking the last remaining fields is not progress. Revamp and extend the old before they degrade any further. Do the right thing.

Building on a greenfield site is an easy option but at what cost? Our Countryside! It's a disgrace when you have brownfield sites so close, but then you have to consider Backhanders from the builders don't you?

Would be a terrible tragedy to lose such a nice open space! There's plenty of other disused areas to build on....the back of morrisons on Starkey St being one!

Typical of Rochdale attempting to take control of Heywood in the most negative way possible.

i have lived on Cherwell all my life & this would not only be a terrible eyesore but that field is part of cherwells history (bonfire nights etc). Children need the green areas to play.

Green belt land belongs to the people not to greedy builders and profiteering councils. Stop now!
