There aren't many areas that are pristine and beautiful maintaining the rural character of the East Cherokee area. Also remember all the environmental impact on the water shed, the silt along Canton Creek and the lakes. Please do not do this!

Too many neighborhoods with less and less property. The population density is too much in this area as it is. Property values will decrease and what we need more is green space. KEEP JOHNSON BRADY AS IS!

The addition of these homes is too much for Johnson Brady to absorb. The road is entirely too small to handle all that traffic. The environmental affects on the area would be detrimental to natural environment, not to mention all the current residents. East Cherokee is too busy as it is and cannot support having more vehicles.

We live on Johnson Brady, a land owner on Garrison Lake. We are against the zoning change because of traffic, over crowding of school and flooding. Due to minimal building upstream, lake has filled in with silt. If this is passed, it will destroy the lake and our property. It will also devalue our property. It doesn't take much rain now to close road due to flooding. Lake is in great need now of dredging. Please do not pass!

Please do not approve this zone change. The area is not suited for this type of development.

Please do not approve! The silt in the (Garrison) lake that the creek feeds on Johnson Brady is already excessive. Any further development would exacerbate the issue. The traffic is horrible enough now as it is, this road is not capable of handling the traffic of 150 more homes/families.

PLEASE DO NOT APPROVE!!!! The roads in this area are not suited for additional traffic. The roads are extremely busy enough now with severe back ups.

We do not approve of the zoning changes. This proposal does not fit with the current land use on Johnson Brady Rd., and this development would bring more traffic to Johnson Brady than it can handle.

Please do not approve the zone change. Cherokee County needs to have some rural areas. This is a beautiful peace of property that needs to be left alone. 150 houses on 45 acres would be a disaster.

Please do not approve this zoning change. There is too much growth in the area. This area is meant to be used as agriculture. Leave it as it is please.

I do not approve because it is not compatible with the existing land use on Johnson Brady Rd.

Please do not approve this zoning change. Cherokee County is a beautiful place to live but that is changing daily due to increased growth and high density zoning.

The roads in this area are not suited for additional traffic. This will also cause over crowding in the schools. To allow this to happen will change the reason s most of us live here. We like the agriculture feel of the area.

Surely the planning commission has the experience and wisdom to recognize that this is not a good use of this land. 150 lots is the main problem. This type of development will degrade our quality of life on many fronts. This part of Cherokee County is a beautiful countryside that is not duplicated anywhere else in North Georgia. The pastoral nature we have here should be protected from over development. I fear that we will look like the rest of the metro counties soon unless smart zoning is exercised. Please, let the public know, in advance, of other plans brought forth.
