I was looking at the breakdown again and honestly nine cents a day feels like such a tiny amount to pay for actual progress but then I think about how long we have been dragging bins elsewhere and it just makes me want to keep pushing this forward. People have been messaging me about their basements being full of stacks of cardboard which is exactly why I started this whole thing in the first place.

I had curveside pick up @ my last house. It was great. We started out with a charge but it was eventually dropped because they made enough money from selling the recycle items to cover cost. I’m all for it.
We had recycling before and they stopped it why should we pay for when we paying having trash picked up and recycling is making money off of it when it’s being recycled. My answer no I do not want it.
I really hope Charlestown gets curbside recycling. We drink tons of water out of bottles (because we worry about the water most the time) and feel bad for tossing them in the trash.
Please include Hawthorn Glen. We love recycling but it is such a chore to collect, sort, and haul it to the recycling center.
I would use this immediately. I don't mind going to the CCRD but I'd buy into this no problem to have to roll a can out.

This would be a great service for seniors and those not able to get to the recycling center during business hours.
