This was my first time as a delegate at any convention. And I thought it was very unprofessional. I was really there to learn and understand more about the different positions and people who are in office as well as who is running. I definitely got a clear picture of who the running candidates were. But never heard anything about Andrew Boucher and his team. There was a lot of yelling and what I felt like was bullying. Things were voted on without even a second to reflect or discuss. In my opinion, I think there needs to be voter machines and not base the vote on peoples screams and or yellow/green cards.

We were treated as unnecessary participants at the convention. I left knowing my support was not desired by the leadership and I will think twice before supporting local candidates

The meeting was not according to Robert's rules of order. Votes were not counted and many participants were confused with the proceedings.

This was a nauseated display of political theater and the so-called "establishment" preventing the voices of The People from being heard. The actions of County Chairman Andrew Boucher were disgusting and deeply disheartening to this native Charlestonian and first-time event attendee. Roberts Rules of Order were bastardized for his own agenda and personal gain. There was nothing democratic or "organized" about the process. It was a perfect show of how corrupt our political process has become and how the Party protects its own, even when there is a mandate from the 2024 Presidential Election for America First leadership and policy changes. SC's Republican Party is a farce. We elect swamp creatures like Lindsay Graham, Tim Scott, and Trey Gowdy to "represent us" only because this party protects its own from the electorate. These are Democrat wolves in sheep's clothing. We are a "red state" in name only, following the likes of Texas and Florida after they apply political pressure and cover to do the right thing. The SC GOP does not support the will of The People and spat all over The People during the farce of the 2024 Charleston County Convention.

This was my 2nd County GOP Convention (and I attended the State GOP Convention 2 years ago) and ask were alike: a travesty of justice and fairness. Current leadership ramrodded their way through the entire, rushed proceeding each time, making our presence useless. They lied, ignored the rules and hammered their way through all 3. It was outrageous! They should be ashamed. This must be stopped so true American Patriots can represent our Precincts properly and well. I sign this Petition with enthusiasm since I want to help our State and our Country and have not been given any opportunity to do so.

Over 600 people in the room. Not one vote actually counted, despite a count being requested many times. A subjective decision was made looking at sea of colored cards. It was a close vote. No human could visually determine the result with any degree of certainty. The truly undemocratic use of slates to vote for state delegates, with only one slate offered for the delegate vote. No alternative. Same for the alternate slate. It was a totally illegitimate sham. MP15

Rules are to be followed. Several were not at the April 6, 2025 Charleston Convention. The illegitimate "results" should be declared such and not be allowed to stand.

Very disappointed and discouraged on how the body was treated at the county covention. We ended a family vacation early to come back so my wife and I could vote.

The rules were not followed. In order to amend rules previously adopted requires a 2/3 vote. No vote was taken, no 2/3 vote recorded in the minutes. The illegally adopted Temporary Rules, which were never shown to the delegates, then allowed a Temporary Chair, elected by a voice vote which not allowed to be challenged, and again no vote taken or recorded, decided at a whim based on colored pieces of paper (red and green) that he saw more green thus the Chairman, Vice Chair and County Executive Committeemen were decided. Again, no actual vote recorded in the minutes. Then the newly elected chairman announced the ballots given to the delegates to elector state delegates should be tossed in the Trash because the color vote allowed him to decide who the state delegates were. At this time, the Chairman took out a piece of paper and declared who the State Delegates were - by his sole decision. Not vote taken or recorded.
The entire convention was conducted in violation of the State and County Rules and illegitimate.
It should also be noted that the Temporary Rules, without 2/3 vote, resulted in the candidates for Chair, Vice Chair and County Executive Committeemen not being allowed to give speeches for the allotted time in the existing convention rules.
The Rules, Voting, Recorded Votes, accurate minutes, free speech - none of this occurred.

I am an elected delegate for my local precinct; and was a Charleston County and State delegate for the last election cycle. The way that the CCRP leadership conducted the Convention on April 6, 2025 was absurd and completely prevented America First MAGA Patriots from being able to cast their votes for new delegates. The actions and procedures by the CCRP leadership for the April 6, 2025 conventions needs to be investigated.
