On November 19th 2013, my Uncle went out fishing with a friend and never returned home. A story was made up that he met up with a friend on the water and went with him but with further investigation and lack of another missing person, the police came to the conclusion that this story was fake and that his friend knows more than he is saying. 5 long months later, on April 27th 2014, my Uncle's body was found by an innocent resident washed up on the shore line. Since no trauma was done to his body and there is no proof his friend did anything wrong, he is getting away with it as a free man. This petition is to vote to the police that the investigation cannot be put to the side and his friend should not be let go a free man. Please sign to have closure and answers given to my family :)

Updates

April 29, 2014

The increase in public interest has compelled local investigators to revisit our file request. I am currently finalizing a formal letter to the district attorney to ensure this case remains active. Meetings are being scheduled to discuss the specific inconsistencies in the original testimony.

Something is definitely wrong here. The police need to look closer at what really happened that day.

Poor guy. You can't just let someone off the hook when the story doesn't even add up. Keep digging.

This whole thing smells fishy. Why are they closing the case so fast?

The truth needs to come out eventually. Someone knows something.
