As a former athlete i feel that its unfair to see someones talent go to waste and not playing sports most wont make it into college sports so they can pursue their careers in the professional league

These Students Deserve an opportunity to showcase their athletic talents. By taking away this opportunity you are setting a lot of kids up for failure because in a lot of cases sports can be the only way for a kid to get into college. Also by taking away high school sports, you are potentially putting kids in danger because sports have a big influence on teens decision making. Instead of a freshman going to football practice they may be influenced to smoke, drink, or even sale drugs etc. there are ways to contain the virus. Perhaps investing into a rapid Covid testing program like the NCAA does. I am also pretty sure that taking sports away from high school students will give them less motivation to excel in the class room or even attend school like they should. These are all facts that needs to be taken into consideration!
