The current system in the SCA allows missing stairs to rule and their targets to suffer. There needs to be society wide change.

This is a great idea. If I can help in any way let me know. I'd much prefer the transparency and also letting kingdoms bring and elect their own officers

The current structure is not serving the members of the society. We need change for the SCA to survive

Adjust terms limits to slightly less, unpaid work after all.

The only part I would change is to add the youth office in as well.

If you don't give the DEI office a significant portion of power, you're wasting your time. The people who want things to stay the way they are will vote their buddies in and nothing will change.

This is very reasonable and well thought out starting place for recovery.

I agree with this idea, as in my judgement the structure of the SCA is at a crossroads- it can either change and continue to grow and flourish, or it can remain stagnant and fade away.

Any member who is being investigated for permanent banishment needs to have that investigation concluded in a reasonable amount of time; i.e. 6 months or less.

I support efforts for more transparency and I absolutely support DEI efforts within the SCA.

I propose that any member of the SCA who brings or has brought a convicted sex offender to any SCA event, including local meetings, be immediately R&D'd
