Ms. Hough,
shoot us an email ([email protected]) and tell us the particulars. Toni recently won her case in Circuit court - statute of limitations (1 year from date of last offense) - if your case was filed ONE day beyond 365 days, you should be able to cite the 1 year statute of limitations and not have to pay ANYTHING - it should outright be dismissed.
Shoot us an email if you want - and many thanks for signing our petition.

Thank you ladies for this. I am currently getting ready to battle a total of 24 cases against these crazy people. I can only hope I have a good outcome.

I was a victim of identity theft. My EZ Pass was billed to my old debit card before I got the new one and the payment wasn't made. In one week I got several tickets. I went to court and found myself facing over $3000 dollars in fines and fees. It was "negotiated" down to $650, still an outrageous amount for something not totally my fault. Nothing but a racket going on here.

Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to sign our petition.
Paul Beda - I think that your suggestion is a good one and should be something to inquire about when we work with the lawmakers.
All - please take a moment to share with others - the more signatures we are able to get, the more traction we will be able to get going forward. We are working to find events to attend, to spread the word. In the meantime, we can be found on Twitter @Drive4Change01, we are on Facebook Drivers4Change and our website is up and running - www.drivers4change.org
Your support is very much appreciated. Please check our social media locations for updates, news and upcoming events. And again, any suggestions or constructive comments are welcomed.

What Transurban has done is unforgivable. Virginia should remove all of their contracts ans reassign them to other companies.

Would you consider amending the petition to include mandatory reporting of tolls vs average speeds. I've been tricked into paying $9 and $10 (assuming it correlated to traffic density, as they claim) to find nearly empty express lanes and freely moving traffic on the main lanes. Transurban's questionable practices seem to include their pricing as well as their collection and enforcement.

Something needs to happen to help make this company accountable for it's actions but also lawmakers need to take immediate action not only to discuss and correct the over priced tolls such as $6.80 to go from I-66 to I-95 then $18.60 to go from I-95 Springfield to I-95 at Garrisonville Rd - RT 610 for a total of $26.40. No one besides the rich can simply afford to use these lanes and by allowing this company to control and charge such high tolls traffic has not eased but worsened especially along the I-95 corridor. Most mornings and nights traffic is gridlocked now while the express lanes sit open and barely used. The express lanes use to help break up the gridlock by allowing all drivers to use them at certain times of the morning, afternoon and evening without charge. This also applied to tractor trailers for a stretch. Now all of that traffic that could or use to use the lanes can no longer do so and the result is gridlock in the main lanes for 40+ miles of my commute everyday.

I had a similar issue, with hundreds of dollars in fiines at a time when I was unemployed. I contacted Transurban and got a form letter basically telling me to go to hell...even though the issue was not caused by any fault of my own. Ridiculous--Transurban just needs to go
