Changes to 47 Bus Route Chelmsford (Beaulieu Park, Broomfield Chelmer Village)

Much needed connection to hospital and Beaulieu Park including the newly opening school there. Keeps traffic numbers numbers down Gives children responsibility to get to school, whilst making it safe. Helps hospital workers return home directly. Ultimately this wins all round, significantly reducing traffic, increasing safety for children, which is what we should all be aiming for.

A review of the number 47 bus service is long overdue.

Everything should be done to ensure that pupils travel to school safely.

I have spoken to so many young children who are looking forward to starting the new school an I feel they need the bus route to get them safe independents

This is really needed for children attending the new Beaulieu Park school in September from Chelmer village / Chancellor park. Thank you.

Much needed connection to Broomfield Hospital

My son will be attending Beaulieu from September, this change would be a MASSIVE help to him getting there and back safely

Broomfield children need to be able to get to school without increasing the number of cars on Broomfield road. It's a must.

We need this service for the school children going to the new Beaulieu school.

This would be a great resource as would reduce traffic on an already busy road.

Need this bus route for school journey

A bus route to and from Broomfield Hospital would be great Even better if the 51 had Broomfield Hospital on its route via channels

My daughter needs to use this bus to get to and from school

We should be encouraged not to drive, an improved bus service to Beaulieu/ Sainsbury’s would be a step in the right direction

This would help children from Broomfield attend Beaulieu School because at present they will need to be driven there .

It would be very helpful to have buses from Broomfield hospital to Beaulieu first thing in the morning. I understand some Broomfield children will be going to the new school and it is not safe to walk or cycle as no pavements or road crossings. Local businesses are advertising for staff and I would have to drive, but with the earlier start for the bus, that would be preferable.

With the new school opening this summer it would reduce the traffic that is already very heavy. I also work at Broomfield hospital and would benefit if there was more busses in the morning and afternoon. I would then use public transport rather than drive every day.

This would really help as I can’t afford to pay for 3 kids on private bus!!

Would like to see an increase in frequency from Chelmer Village to Beaulieu Park School
