There is a plethora of scientific evidence stating that later school start times will greatly benefit students. I implore schools to fulfill their mission statements to help students succeed by allowing them to get better rest.

My kids graduated HS a few years ago but I hope that this positive change will help later generations of students. Very few grown adults could cope with this schedule, much less teens with developing brains.

it’s sad to think that school start times haven’t changed despite all the studies showing the benefits from it starting later. literally half of my friends will come to me in the morning saying, “i got two hours of sleep because i had so much homework.” if we’re not going to change the work load, then we need to change the start time. either way, something needs to happen. literally nobody likes getting up at six am.

A later start time would be extremely beneficial for every student. I don't know why it hasn't been acknowledged in this much depth before? Especially because there are countless studies that actually prove later start times to be beneficial?

Taking multiple AP classes and the rest all honors, sometimes I don't sleep until 1 am. Having later times will benefit not only honor students but all as well.
