Change to the Large Carnivore Policies and Procedures Public Safety Protocol

Humans cause the loss of habitat for animals in the wild, so we have a moral obligation to protect them.

Please let's do our best to help animals survive. This will take some thought, prevention well worth the resources.

What a shame these animals are only doing what Mother Nature has given them skills for.

relocation is difficult, but surely it could at least be attempted before killing. We have invaded their territory, we are the problem.

Our present policies are based on an urban ideology of fear & exclusion of wildlife. We need instead policies of stewardship & shared territory.

A completely irresponsible and thoughtless act.

They are called conservation officers,it's about time that they start practicing conservation instead of killing.

Relocate animals that have wandered into human habitat. Create national reserve parks well balanced to help sustain these precious animal populations.

Reactionary killing of animals is wrong! We own a helicopter and would be more than happy to relocate tranqed wildlife to a safer location. You've got my email.

We have a helicopter company in the Penticton area and would be happy to relocate these animals for no charge.

We need to respect and preserve our wildlife. We have encroached on them, they should not pay the price.

Cougars are magnificent creatures. They should relocated. Humans are intruding on their territory. We need to protect and respect cougars.

This is very important! A change in protocol is needed to give wildlife a chance to live as humans expand more and more into the wilderness areas!

We can't continue to kill indiscriminately without serious and lasting harm to our wildlife and environment. We need to think about future generations that will want to enjoy what we now take for granted.

They didn't need too be killed. You could of knocked them out & moved them

The killing of these beautiful animals was shameful and terrible. They did nothing wrong. Humans are taking over animals territories and they (animals) just trying to survive. Conservation officers should be protecting animals and not killing them!
