Change to the Large Carnivore Policies and Procedures Public Safety Protocol

Relocation was an option. The conservation officers could transfer them farther north. They'd rather "conserve" money as bullets are cheap

We need to learn to co-exist with our amazing wildlife, not to indiscriminately destroy them. Please find a proper solution to this, not resorting to killing them.

Protection of wildlife is paramount! We can't allow 'conservation officers' to kill wildlife unless it is an emergency situation.

Killing them was so unnecessary. There's always a better way.

We live in their backyard...not the other way around.

Thank you for starting this petition. It is long over due. it is so sad that these beautiful animals are being killed. There has to be a better way to keep all involved safe.

We are destroying their habitats. Conservation = the action of protection, preservation of wildlife.

I am sorry but I do not think all pets and or humans take precedence over large carnivores (cougers). Humans with or without pets can use common sense to remain safe. Large cats just follow the food chain.

Let's work on an alternate solution where these beautiful animals don't have to be killed.

We are taking over and destroying their habitat more and more every day. We have no respect for them or each other anymore. Sad.

What we can do to protect these wild animals is to do our most, to safeguard their existence.

I agree that wildlife must be preserved. People are too quick to kill. Give them a chance. After all they were here first.

Yes change protocol, stop killing of Mt. Lions and Grizzly bear by government. Can catch and move.
