If they can’t provide transportation then they should receive the tax money from the home on the island.

We own two houses and one parcel on the mainland. Definitely doing our part to fund schools. It is absurd to support mukilteo school district from Hat Island when there is no access to said district. Thank you.

My wife and I own 3 lots on Hat island and are full time residents. I am 63 years old and have no children living on the island.

We have owned a house on Hat Island since 1990 or 26 years are 75 years old and use our house about 50 days a year. There are no children living on the island. Our lot number is N-17

Not true. There have been students on the island. My son was schooled on the island for 2 years and our taxes to Mukilteo transferred to the Everett School District with him through 2007 and for another family through 2008.
