Definitely needs to change back, it's ridiculous and while they are at it sort a rota for the different year's to go in - sending year 8's in last to have the scraps is not good enough when we're paying for them to eat.

After the decision was made, my gut instinct was that it would have been good to have asked for parents' opinions/vote first? Also, my child is now spending more money in school as they are paying for a snack at break too. This matters when you have a few kids at school. It all adds up. And then, they don't want to eat when the family/siblings are eating in the evening as they're still full from lunch. Teenagers have enough anxieties, body image hang-ups, eating fads, without putting this extra pressure on their eating habits. We had a good system going in our house re: meals in the week & this change has affected home/family life too believe it or not. I don't mind change where it works but I'm not convinced by this one. Change it back please!

I work in the kitchen and we were not asked for an option to the change of the lunch time period. I have colleagues who have children to pick up from school as well as colleagues who have other employment. We are struggling!

That is far to long to go without food lunch time should start at the latest 12.15. Some children are unfortunate not to have breakfast and lunch will be there 1st meal of the day, get the staff to do without till then let's see how there teaching abilities go

We have two kids in the school both of whom need frequent small meals as tiny & suffer from reactions to low blood sugar (behavioural and concentration). The new lunchtime has had a big impact on them especially on days when they wake too late to have a good breakfast (often! They are teens!). Oh and while we're at it they tell me the catering suppliers have changed (last year?) and the food is now a much lower quality, less choice for vegetarians and often inedible. Such a shame given how much we pay!

Far too late for children to be having lunch. My daughter starts next September and I'm hoping it will be at a more appropriate time.

I never ate a single meal there. It's a slow system and most of my friends didn't want to waste time in a 20 minute queue for poor food

I didn't eat lunch for the 5 years I was there because I was too lazy to make packed lunches and I couldn't be bothered spending 3/4 of my lunchtime queuing. Also I hoped they've stopped banning sasauge rolls now. #freetheroll.

My son didn't have lunch for the first 3 days of the new school year. Even now he doesn't get time to eat his lunch by the time he's got through the ques. I'm wasting money and schools wasting food.
Not a happy parent when he comes home starving saying he hasn't had anything to eat.

An awful lot of students aren't being able to eat lunch and when the do manage to get it they have to rush through it which is not healthy
