I need to do early teas but my son feels like he's only just eaten.

Thank you for setting this up, due to the changes students in school now won't concentrate in their morning lessons because of no/little breakfast, we will have to wait until much later (even later than the old timetable finished lunch) and students will no longer finish their dinner because of the lateness of lunch. So overall they won't have adequate meals at all for five days a week. #ivotechange

1400 pupils to feed in 45 minutes is impossible. The school hasn't got the facilities to accommodate the needs of its pupils so the pupils suffer. They stagger the year groups for lunch within that 45 minutes so if you're in last you get 5 minutes to each lunch if you're lucky. Why can't those pupils who take their own lunch be allowed to eat it on the school yard if they so wish. Oh yeah, the school are more concerned about litter than ensuring the pupils are fed. As a parent if we can't find time to feed our kids then Social Services would be on our backs but it's acceptable for Thomas Adams to starve them!!! With all the media reports about child obesity the only thing the kids have time to eat is snacks. Well done Thomas Adams for your contribution to the obesity statistics!!

It makes no sense,as they made a big wooha regarding most children not having a breakfast,and they couldn't concentrate,so they make them wait longer,they want to make up there minds,it makes no sense,they don't even get a full hour for dinner,reason for most of the kids not being able to get dinner,by the time they get to the front of the queue,the bell goes,break is the same,

Shocking... this goes against all research Re children needing to be fed and watered in order to concentrate. Why did the government introduce Breakfast clubs ... because childten were going to school hungry and consequently unable to focus. Some children are out of their home at 7.00 am. How can they focus until mid afternoon. I'm sure there are snacks in the staff room !!!!

My children are having snacks NOT meals at school due to lack of time and teachers rushing them! Never had any problems last year.

It's horrible how you treat us like this, you make it so we have extra lessons and we miss out on so much food, shorteneing our lunch is extortionate, prisons get more yard time then us and they don't even have to learn

Ridiculously late for lunch when the kids are on the bus at just after 8am! It's at least 5 hours since breakfast if they have any! And how can you feed that many students in 45 mins, lack of food and drink will lead to kids getting irratable and will lack concentration for sure. Lunch finishes an hour before they go home crazy rules!! This needs changing as soon as possible

My son has been in school for the last 5 years and this term for first time he stop eating his dinner. He said it was because of the new changes. I'm not very happy about it an worried as I think kids need to eat to be able to perform and concentrate.

There is not enough time for everyone to get food or get out so the next year can sit down. This also causes crowding as people are waiting to sit down.
