I remember when I was in the lower years at school, with the old lunch schedule how rushed it used to be & sometimes how hungry people used to be, if they didn't have anything at break. The fact lunch is starting 20mins after it used to finish, is frankly ridiculous and not even lunch, that's an afternoon snack. This change honestly makes no sense at all.

Not happy with this change. I have noticed the difference as son is spending more money and it not concentrating in lessons either.

Ok, and I thought the way they ran things couldnt get any worse, this is horrible, and as stated kids can't concentrate when hungry, nevermind kids even I cant concentrate when hungry, its a normal human thing.

It's simply too late. My children leave at 7.30am for the bus and often don't eat breakfast because they are out so early.

I went to this school a few years ago and it was bad enough back then If you were rhe last year in. It doesn't surprise me That it's near impossible now that they've shortened the lunch break. They need to fix this quickly

Why are children finishing their lunch an hour before home time!!! Its like doing a full days work and your boss saying I'm changing your lunch i know you finish at 5.30 but now your lunch is 3.30 til 4.30. What idiots run the school !!! Hungry children no concentration

I totally agree I am wasting money on food my son doesn't get chance to eat! Some meal times the bell goes for afternoon lessons before he had even paid for his dinner. They get told to stay and finish but they feel uncomfortable and rush.

My daughter has a metabolic disorder and has to eat regular meals! If she doesn't it it's dangerous! 45minutes to feed over 1000 students is ridiculous!!!! I send my child to that school in good faith that she will be safe andcared for!

It’s far too late to eat lunch. My children are starving by this time. They are only having one lesson now after lunch. Which means too many lessons before lunch and lack of concentration due to being hungry. As parents, We were not informed about this change. The first I knew about it was when my kids came home complaining about it. I think it is a ridiculous idea. And should be changed back to the original times. The children are suffering!
