My mom has always told me it would not be appropriate to wear so see-through shirt and short shorts to work. But this isn't work this is school and as long as a girl feels confident in what she's wearing she should be allowed to wear it as long as it doesn't distract her from her own education.

I just want to let everyone know we're not asking for anything crazy. we just want clothes we are comfortable and confident in. we want our leggings back, which are just as tight as skinny jeans. I get you don't want our bit of boobs hanging out, but leggings are exersise clothes. there's nothing wrong about them and they literally COVER our entire leg. we want the same respect boys have. this is 2015 and girls deserve that.

I think that some parts of the dress code are equal but most is unfair. As long as girls are appropriate then they should be able to wear whatever they chose. I believe that leggings, shorts, and tank tops rule is totally uncalled for. I can see the school is trying to prevent people (mostly targeted at girls) from dressing provocatively but most of the student body are appropriate enough to make their own choices with clothing and know what is right to wear to school. I hope the school takes this petition into consideration because I feel that we deserve free dress.

One of our rights as students is freedom of cloth, and by not letting us wear what we prefer and making us change because our skirt is 1/2 an inch too shortis completely ridiculous,. If it's hot outside we should be allowed to wear shorts! it doesn't feel good to be pulled out of class and be told that what your wearing isn't right.....
