Change the Mill Valley Middle School Dress-Code

Not allowing girls to wear leggings is absurd - it isn't acceptable that girls should be controlled and told what to wear because of an implication that boys cannot control themselves and could be distracted.

We are 11-14. We aren't sexual objects. Teaching us that our bodies need to be hidden at this young of an age is absurd. Leggings are athletic clothes. Boys wear their athletic clothing every day but it's fine for them. This rule is completely unfair and it feels like we are going back in history to a time that women fought so hard to get through. Who do u think is more sexually active and more turned on by a girls body, highschoolers or middle schoolers? Obviously highschoolers, but the girls at Tam High are free to wear whatever that want. There aren't riots about it. Boys don't get boners every two seconds because they saw a girls knee.

This is so stupid everyone wears leggings. Please change this.

My mom just bought me a ton of yoga pants and not she is mad at me BC I'm nit allowed to wear them and now I have to wear jeans everyday and they are all like loose-ish and I only like jeans if they are super tight
