Girls should be able to wear whatever they want in a public school and no one should care if they are wearing a tank top or yoga pants etc.

I think that the reason girls wear leggings is usually for comfort. If I have a big test, I don't want to be all uncomfortable in jeans or a skirt. Boys get to wear basketball shorts and comfortable clothing to school, I really don't see the difference between that and leggings, other than the tightness.

The dress code restrictions placed on our young girls is teaching them the "you asked for it" mentality of a patriarchal society. This feels like a throw back to a different era women have fought hard to rise above.

I don't go to Mill Valley, but my friend goes there, and I want you guys to be able to wear what you want, and when you want! It's not about the students who think sexually it's about the teachers!

this leggings rule is outdated and wrong. Our girls are athletes in their leggings.

Signing this because teaching girls to cover up and accommodate for the behavior of boys HAS to end. Boys will get distracted regardless of whether the girls are covered toe to chin, so let's stop perpetuating this culture of demeaning women for what they wear and let's start teaching our men, young or old, how to properly treat a woman.
