The site is an eyesore in the middle of the town of Romsey. Especially when considering the dire need of local housing

Ludicrous that there are no measures/laws in place to time scale development on these sites whilst greenfield sites are given the go ahead

We should exhaust all brownfield site opportunities before contemplating any new greenfield sites for development. Leaving the brewery site in Romsey undeveloped is a nonsense.

It is shameful that this site has been left in limbo for so long. Since Stanborough Developments have no desire to build on the site, it should be taken away from them. Perhaps the people of Romsey should take over the site, and the town build its own houses.

There is not enough affordable housing in this Area and this monstrosity if land sits there mocking us all . .change it !use it ! Give the new generation some hope of being able to move into their own homes !

The long standing derelict development site on the former Strongs brewery land in central Romsey is a disgrace and is a "blot on the landscape.

Planning permission to build some 200 house has been approved for this site for years and yet nothing has been started despite continual building on green fields!
