The Stanborough tactics are callous and anti-community. A triumph of selfish mony-minded dog-in-the-mangerism. Do act in the public interest. This is a poke in the eye for the present planning system which should be adjusted.

I strongly support this as a resident on the site who is powerless to change looking out on builders metal railings for 3 years.

This site is an appalling blot on the centre of Romsey, if only this land were to be developed it would give an opportunity to significantly enhance the town centre.

totally agree - its mad not building on the brewery site while we are devouring countryside around and then having to drive everywhere

The owners of such sites should be made to pay all the council tax and business rates that this site would generate if it was fully developed as planned. This would deter developers from sitting on undeveloped sites once planning permission was given.

Our local TVBC councillors have unable to convince the Local Authority, centred in Andover, to act on this urgent matter. It has become a disgrace, especially with the 'promises' from central government. Stanborough Developments should be named and shamed nationally.

Totally fed up we have to live with this eyesore for so long now. In the meantime more Greenfield Sites are being built on.

There is something fundamentally worng with the law if the council is powerless to insist on development of this site having granted planning permission. To leave this piece of land undeveloped in the heart of our beautiful market town must not be allowed to happen indefinitely.

This has been an eyesore for so many years it is amazing there hasn't been more vandalism in the area. Test Valley want to ruin the town by building on greenfield sites on the outskirts but don't seem to acknowledge that there are brownfield sites needing development. Start building on the Old Brewery site now!

20 years is far to long to wait for this eyesore to be developed with all the extra housing locally being built predominantly on greenfield sites.

This site is an eyesore and wasted land in the centre of Romsey. It urgently needs to be developed to provide more housing for the area.
