I would love to see that changed. My little poodle played over 11 years of flyball. She missed one year due to an injury but as a result did not qualify. I felt she was robbed.

I AGREE totally, Deb. I also think that ANY dog that earns some "milestones" above 100,000 pts should receive recognition for their achievement!

If the Board is not inclined to make this change as presented in this petition, PLEASE, allow a Delegate Vote on this issue at the earliest date prescribed by NAFA By-Laws and/or Corporate Policies and Procedures.

Retired our girl 1 year before iron dog was instituted. Would have run her some each year to get 10 years.

Ten years is impressive. If a dog gets to year nine, and misses a year due to injury, s/he can't start over.

Having rottweiler's racing in itself 10 years is pretty much their lifespan. I have one that if she lives till next year, it will be 10. But she was out about 18 months due to an injury. Sad she will not be eligible due to consecutive year wording.
