We should have a saltire flag to represent Scotland all the time not just for burns day... Get it sorted and give us scots a place where we belong. I'm not British I'm Scottish and very proud..

"Auld Lang Syne" is sung the world over on two separate occasions EVERY YEAR. It is NOT British, it is SCOTTISH !

Scotland is a country - it is an insult to use the union jack, and not our own flag.

Burns was Scottish, born in Ayrshire, died in Dumfriesshire and wrote his poems and songs in Scotland. His birthday is celebrated world wide as far as Japan, Russia and Canada. All over the world folk sing Auld Lang Syne every new year. Burns was no unionist and not a monarchist either.

The flag can only be the Scottish flag, anything else would be an insult to a true Scot....
