It is sheer ignorance not to have the Saltire displayed on said page. Sort it out!

This is our Day for our National Bard, who was Scottish not British. I would like Facebook to change the Union Jack to the Saltire. Thank You.

Scotland is a nation; the United Kingdom is not. Using the UK flag for a specifically Scottish event is offensive to me and is likely to be so to most Scots, the vast majority of whom consider themselves to be Scottish rather than British.

The Union flag? On RABBIE BURNS' Night?? How insulting.
The man was a Scottish Nationalist, NOT a unionist.
If you are wont to remember his night, at least respect his memory and his legacy by marking the day with his, and our, Scottish Saltire.

Traditionally a Scottish celebration of our national poet - it's time the ignorance was stopped as we are a proud country not defined by a political union the union flag has no place in our culture

Burns night is a celebration world wide that marks the life and works of Scotland's most famous poet, There for the flag used should be that of Scotland, which is the St, Andrew's flag (Saltire).

Robert Burns was a supporter of the Jacobites. As such his beliefs were fundamentally against everything the British flag stands for. Your decision to use the British Union Jack for the Burns celebration is a spit in the eye of the great poet Robert Burns and the entire nation of Scotland will not forgive you if you go ahead with this. Use the saltire!
