I completely agree with this petition. The current dress code is basically entitling boys to an education. Why? Why should they have more of a right to an education? If they're distracted by girls' clothing, it's their fault. I mean yeah, if our shorts aren't even covering our butts, I get that that could be distracting. If we just wore a bra and underwear to school even I would be uncomfortable. But NO GIRL WEARS THAT TO SCHOOL! We're not that stupid! We should wear what ever we want! That's why I want to change the dress code.

My daughters have been pulled over for the way they dress, I see nothing wrong with what they wear.

I agree the dress code sucks and it should be changed but for everyone saying it's the boys fault, screw you! the teachers have no way of knowing if we are distracted aNd they are assuming we are getting distracted . Males have self control k? It's not our fault

Keep fighting the good fight, girls! I hope my 6yo daughter will not have to be worried, shamed, or embarrassed to wear perfectly appropriate clothing by the time she is in your shoes.

Having girls bend over to check skirt length seems highly inappropriate and humiliating

The dress code here is horribly sexist, the males never get dinged for their clothes when they break the dress code. But girls get suspended for a tiny rip or a two inch difference. that they might not notice at first look.

I agree as long as it is reasonable.

I can't believe this is still an issue! I went to this school in the 1980's and was sent home for a clothing issue.

Stop objectifying my daughter because she's wearing shorts.

Girls should be allowed to wear what is comfortable and not be treated like objects.
